Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 2.74 g, 6 h), uncertain mint in the East, Sabina, Augusta, 128-136/7, circa 130-135. SABINA AVGVSTA Diademed and draped bust of Sabina to right. Rev. [T]ELLVS STABIL Tellus standing front, head to left, holding plow in her right hand and short rake in her left; at feet to right, two stalks of grain. BMC -. RIC pl. 56, 3203 (this coin). Strack -. Extremely rare. Attractively toned. A few light scratches and the reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, good very fine.
